As I was writing the final entry into my series of Power Rangers reviews, ABBA’s “Thank You for the Music” started playing in my head, begging me to do one last final entry and archive. We do archives for the different series of Marvel Legends and DC Universe Classics, and it only made sense that we do one for the Power Rangers. A small thank you to Bandai for making these figures and making them so wonderfully!
When I first pitched the idea of covering more Power Rangers to VeeBee, we looked at each other crosseyed since we aren’t known for covering Power Rangers, and there are few 6-inch superposable versions of them. But with my oldest son’s interest in them and the fantastic job Bandai did with them, it was a no-brainer — we had to cover them. And I loved it.
When I was in college, the show was just coming out and it was part of my after school cartoon watching. I think we spent more time drinking to it and laughing at it, but I enjoyed that Super Sentai was making it to the small screen. As I did the research on the articles from various wikis, it brought back those good feelings, and as I look at and play with the toys, I really enjoy what’s come out of the Power Rangers.
Without further ado, here is the archive — links to the various figure reviews! Enjoy!
