S.H. Figuarts Suicide Squad Deadshot Available on BigBadToyStore

When the S.H. Figuarts Suicide Squad Deadshot was first announced we learned that it was a Web Shop exclusive, and there was much heavy sighing all around. It meant it was more expensive for those of us outside the overseas market and trickier to get. But as it turns out, it’s not so exclusive after all.

Bluefin quickly announced that they will be distributing it outside the Bandai market which means the rest of the world can get a little Will Smith too. That’s great news, especially considering the price and release date fall right in line with the actual exclusive’s release date. Don’t ask me how it works but I’ve since been told that Bluefin does it with other properties like Dragon Ball. I’m not going to argue, I just like getting my toys.

You can pre-order Deadshot on BigBadToyStore for $54.99 with a release date of June.

The Bluefin release info list interchangeable wrist guns, the only thin I can guess is that the ones below are wider and more spread apart than the ones above? Not sure, I haven’t seen that listed in any other info and may just be some confusion and a trick of angle.

Also missing is the writing around the collar. Harley‘s belly tattoo is also missing. Just seems like an odd thing to miss given all the other detail that went into this figure.

  1. The power of Bluefin. The import sites have to go through the hoops of ordering the exclusive, always more expensive. Distribution to the US means prices have to stay competitive because all the sites and even brick and mortars are getting it. Absolutely love it.

  2. Whoa. This is the FIRST TIME I’ve seen an import being listed on BBTS for less than what’s being charged on the usual Japan-based sites. I’m leaning strongly towards picking this up. 🙂

  3. Tamashii exclusives are just online exclusives in Japan. With the exception of specific properties (I.e., Star Wars and Marvel) it has little effect on distribution in the US once Blue Fin gets their hands on it. Nearly all the MMPR and Naruto figures were online exclusives in Japan. Iirc, the same is true of the SHF TMNT figures.

For figures that are picked up by Blue Fin, it’s generally pretty likely that you can find a better deal by buying here in the States. Though the downside is that you probably have to wait an extra month or two. Sometimes it feels worth the extra $15-20 to just buy it off a Japanese reseller and get it first.
