Mezco Toyz has announced a new One:12 Collective figure based on the other huge sci-fi franchise that isn’t currently everywhere you turn. It’s Spock from Star Trek!

I’ll admit, if you didn’t already know, that I’m much more a Star Wars guy than Star Trek. I’ve seen most of it but I gravitate to the other of the big two. But I’ll be damned if this Spock isn’t beautiful and has me wanting it. Especially with the alternate head with the raised eyebrow.

The One:12 Collective is proud to present one of the most iconic and enduring characters in the pop culture lexicon: Spock from the original Star Trek series.

First introduced to audiences in 1966, the Star Trek series was a landmark show that sparked countless fans’ a love of science, space and technology, and inspired many real world inventions. Spock, powerfully portrayed by Leonard Nimoy in both the TV series and in the film franchises, embodied a new kind of TV hero: calmly logical, and cerebral but not completely devoid of human emotion. Spock has transcended his genre and has been voted one of the “50 Greatest TV Characters” and has recently had a mountain named after him on Pluto. Digitally modeled to craft an uncanny actor likeness and assembled on a One:12 Collective body with over 28 points of articulation, this figure features a series accurate outfit to create an amazing collectable.

  1. Given the superb quality of One12,I’m okay with that.
    I can wait.
I’d even be okay with only having Spock, but the trio would be exquisite, capt!
    ?✌

  2. Your thoughts to my thoughts.
    My mind to your mind.
    Or…ditto.
    What you said,Benty!
    ?Shalom.

  3. Here’s the deal,Robo; Kid “Kage”didn’t really get Star Trek. Kid “Kage was ALL over Star Wars(so much so that I didn’t understand where the pilot sat on the enterprise ship because it didn’t look like an X-Wing?) Years later Mr.”Kage” received a cerebral Starfleet academy education in all things Trek. The original 79 episodes, both pilots, the cartoon, every show broadcast(glad to hear it’s coming back to tv)all the movies.
I actually wrote papers on Spock in school. His character is a “fascinating” subject. Immense gratitude to Gene Roddenberry,DC Fontana, and Leonard Nimoy for bringing the character to life.
While the kid in me is all about good over evil in the form of Jedi spreading the light to dissolve the dark side of the force, the big kid is all about the cool collective logic and emotional science of morality tales told through going where no one has gone before.”
Long story short: big kid Kage is absolutely interested in acquiring this wonderful One12 toy of Mr.Spock!
    ?✌Shalom!

  4. I’m pretty excited about this. None of the other Star Trek toys have ever appealed to me. At the minimum I’d be happy if they just did Spock, Kirk and Bones, but if they did the entire bridge crew that would be amazing.

  5. Granted, these do look better than any SHF, not just the Star Wars ones. The downside is that we probably won’t get many Trek figures, and the figures we do get will be rolled out really slowly.
