It’s Top Ten time again, this time for real! The vote came, we voted, and now it’s the time to find out the results. All in all, the voting did not break the record of votes set by the last vote, but it didn’t do too shabbily – still the second best results in terms of voting. The number of votes this year was hampered a little from us no longer having a guest feature in the forum – people had to be registered to vote, unlike past votes.
These results will be passed along to Hasbro – it will let us be heard again, with our most requested figures.
And the Winner is…
#1 BLACK BOLT! … again [110 votes]
Yes, Black Bolt dominated the Vote again. He won first place in the last round of voting and he won again this round of voting. People are serious for getting their hands on the Boltster. He got a little less votes this go around – last time Bolt got 121 votes – but he was still the clear leader. It’s been cemented in that the people want Black Bolt – he’s a two-time champ now, so Hasbro has to make him for the fans.
#2 NOVA [98 Votes]
Nova climbed up to #2 this go around. Last time he was in the #5 position, but him being just a much wanted classic Marvel character, who has gotten a lot of buzz lately thanks to the Annihilation storyline. Nova’s gotta be a shoe in – it’s now just what version of Nova does everyone want – the Classic version or the Annihilation version.
#3 POLARIS [79 Votes]
Polaris hasn’t done a thing – last time she was in the #3 position, and this time she again is in the #3 position. She just kinda sits there, not quite as ambitious as Nova or Black Bolt. She’s okay with being #3 – being #1 takes to much effort. But she’s still the #1 green haired chick who can stick to refrigerators. There’s a very strong-cross section on what people want Polaris to wear, but her green outfits seem to be the favorites.
#4 Jean Grey [67 votes]
Come on Hasbro – make Jean Grey. I have been writing about her for so long in these Top Tens. Usually everyone moves on, but Jean just sticks around even after everyone left the party. I’m going on strike right now – I’m not writing any more Jean Grey entries in the vote. Just go read an old one. And I’m not going to mention how pretty much everyone wants Jean in her Gold Team togs, to complete the Blue and Gold team of X-Men, who are probably the most popular and most wanted versions of the X-Men.
#5 Sunfire [65 votes]
Sunfire’s been in the Top Ten vote longer than he ever was an X-Man already. But the people want the Giant Sized X-Men team – they all wanna recreate the team on their shelves. Sunfire only climbed one spot from the last vote. The voting still pretty much universally split between his two most popular looks, AOA and his Classic outfit.
#6 Tigra [62 vote]
A new face to be elevated into the Top Ten – Tigra. She’s the only chick with belly hair to make it into the Top Ten. Since Black Knight got made, Tigra’s now the new most wanted Avenger. In the last Vote Tigra just barely missed breaking into the Top Ten, placing 11th.
#7 Adam Warlock and Gladiator Tied [60 votes]
Adam, all over the place – in the last vote he ranked 9th, but in the vote before that he ranked 7th. And now he’s back to 7th place.
Gladiator was so embarrassed with his loss to Jubilee in the last vote he managed to barely eek out a victory over the mall girl by getting some of the voters drunk. Then they voted for Gladiator cause they thought he was a purple Mr. T.
#9 Valkyrie [51 votes]
Valkyrie’s been all bouncy like Warlock. Last Top Ten she fell to 13th, but the top ten before that she was in 9th, and now she’s in 9th again. When Valkyrie gets made, everyone will celebrate by wearing boob armor. #10 Dazzler and Jubilee Tied [50 votes]
Dazzler’s another new face in the vote. She almost made the Top Ten last time, ranking 11th, but now she’s in. There are so many different votes for what costume people want her in.
Jubilee, oh how the mighty have fallen. She thought she was all that, ranking in #7 last time, but now she’s fallen on hard times and hit the bottom – she’s at #10.
That’s it for the regular vote, but there’s still one more thing to do… the Build A Figure category.

FIN FANG FOOM [64 votes]
Again… Foom’s dominated the BAF category for the last 3 votes. He won by such a gigantic margin in this vote it almost wasn’t worth it to tabulate the vote, since he so clearly won. The Foom’s hard to make now, being a huge character, but hopefully, with are constant begging, they’ll figure out a way to make him.
