Having developed powers far beyond those of mortal men and imbued with a strong moral compass, Clark takes up the fight for truth and justice as Superman. Although he is based in the big city of Metropolis, Superman is a global hero — righting wrongs worldwide. He is arguably the greatest and most powerful hero in the DC Universe.

  1. Yeah, I’m not quite sold on this, but if they did a Fleischer Studios variant with a smiling head included… that would be a different story.

  2. I think his undies riding up his crack…HIP crack will be an issue. I also think the lack of smiling head hurts. All I see are angry heads.

Hoping for more editions of Supes to be shown. Maybe other versions we have not seen has a more iconic look.

  3. The sculpt is great, the accessories are great…I just can’t get past the suit. It seems way too loose on him. I really don’t care for the emblem or belt either. The belt needs some red loops or something and the emblem I feel should be part of the fabric (like on their Batman), not some plastic piece stuck on. I’m sure it’s probably metal to accommodate the magnetic bullet effects, which is cool, but I’d still prefer a fabric one.

  4. This would be a near-guaranteed purchase if they included a smiling headsculpt. As it is now, it’s really nice, but I have higher-priority items to buy.

  5. I’ve gotten most all of the Mezco One:12 Collective offerings so far. Loved the Dark Knight stuff, the Dredd figures, love Mr. Spock (Sulu’s out this week) but this Superman, Flash, and Space Ghost are just a miss for me. I can live with the head sculpts, but the soft goods body suits for those 3 figures just look off, perhaps the way they hug the body and show the joints or weird muscle sculpted body, I’m not sure. But, I will say all of the figures from this line so far look much better in hand than in photos, so I’ll wait to see some video reviews on this before making my mind up for good.

  6. I love a lot of the ONE:12 stuff but while I keep hoping that this will be the ultimate Classic Supes for me, I just don’t like that collar business at his neck. It’s a thick, jarring transition compared to, say, the Spock figure.

He’s got rad cans though. Huge.

  7. Head A is just a little too expressionless for me. I’d have a hard time even calling it neutral. I do love what they’re done with the crest.
