Hasbro: Marvel Legends Shadow King Head Quick Review

Troy has received his Marvel Legends BaF Kingpin and the first thing he had to do was try out the Shadow King head that came with Professor X. But he also went a little further to add a little extra oomph!

Hot off the truck from Dorkside Toys, the Kingpin Spider-man wave arrived. The first thing that needed to be done was build the Kingpin BAF and add the Shadow King Head to the body! Seeing the Shadow King head on the body looked great, but the hands kind of looked off. After reading some comments on the Fwoosh about using the Monster Venom hands for the Shadow King, I had to attempt this myself. With a bit of brute strength to remove both set of hands, the Venom hands fit perfectly within the Kingpin forearm, creating a menacing Shadow King we’ve all seen in the comics, while making me think “did Hasbro plan this?”

This simple swap didn’t need any modifications or tooling, it’s a simple “pop and swap.” If you want to attempt this yourself, you’ll need the BAF parts from Poison and Scream from the Monster Venom wave to create this fearsome Shadow King to face off against Professor X.
