Fwoosh member Jedd-the-Jedi has written a very thoughtful review of the final chapter in Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman series for Fwooshflix. Check it out and let us know what you think.
I thought it was good, albeit a little longer than I would have liked. But while I am a comic book junkie (both Marvel & DC) Batman is not one of my favorite characters.
I own the other two movies on Blu-Ray and the only way I’ve sat through them were in little chunks or while doing other things. This one was my first one in the theater (imax no less!) and I found it kind of tough to sit through this and keep my attention focused. I enjoyed it, I will probably buy it on Blu-Ray, but it’s not going to be a go-to movie for me like Avengers will be.
I like my comic movies fun and colorful and obviously this was neither, nor was it meant to be. But it certainly had it’s moments and you could certainly do worse if you check it out.
At the end, I liked it. But, it has a lot of issues. They’ve been well documented.
