Hasbro: SDCC Marvel Legends Retro Carded Hulk Video Review and Quick Pics

HULK! SMASH! SDCC RETRO PACKAGING! THEN HULK EAT TACO!

Before I even start this, let me say that I don’t have the 80th Anniversary 2-pack version of Hulk with the lighter skin and classic head. So no comparisons with it. Yet. I will have that version because I’m a classic kinda guy and messing with this makes me even more excited.

The body has some odd articulation choices but I’ll be damned if I don’t love it. It’s agile but thick. Sure, it could have more range but it’s pushing what can be done with huge plastic muscles before looking all chopped up. Well, more chopped up. It is a toy after all.

I’ve heard people say that the more classic Hulk should have been on this card to be more accurate, but I think Hasbro would have gotten even more blowback than they usually do for that. Make the classic an exclusive? Not that the modern is terrible, I quite like it in hand, but it’s more likely to be seen again later with the full hand array or and different paint job. Plus, classic Hulk is just too perfect with first appearance Wolverine.
