Hasbro: Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool HasCon Exclusive Video and Quick Pics

There’s not a lot to say about the HasCon exclusive Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool. It’s mostly reuse. It’s in a different color. It’s a character that we’ve had in plastic form a couple of times before, and we’ll see again in the near future. Then why do I love it so blasted much??

I’ll admit, it’s mainly because it’s Deadpool. I’ve been on that train since his debut and it doesn’t look to be stopping any time soon. But more than that, the replaced parts make the figure more streamlined, more proportional. I always knew there was something funky about last year’s Juggernaut wave Wade release and now I can pinpoint it: The new forearms and shins on the Bucky Cap body are a little too long there. Just a little. Slightly. This remedies that.

But it still uses those tiny feet. No. No.

The gray color, which should be bland and boring, looks great here. There are hints of red just like the comic rendition and the grommets and snaps and buckles are painted silver. That didn’t happen the first time around. Hasbro even threw some paint at the weapons. Woo!

The pinkie was cute the first time around, but this time it seems more of an annoyance. I feel like the X-Force version should be more serious and gritty. Or maybe not. But I wouldn’t have liked to see a standard trigger finger hand this time around. Just for giggles.

Now we need the rest of the X-Force crew in this gray. I know we’ve seen some before but now those don’t match and they are hard to get. We have a new Wolverine body to use and a Psylocke, Domino, and X-23 on the way. Deathlok. Warpath is rumored. And damn it, I want a new Fantomex. C’mon.
