1000TOYS: TOA Heavy Industries Collared and Reprogrammed Body (C.A.R.B.)

I love me some off the wall action figures, and 1000TOYS’ C.A.R.B. does not disappoint. Another fantastic release from 1000TOYS, C.A.R.B. is the latest in their scale from 1:6 to 1:12 action figure series.

We here at Fwoosh are starting to have a little crush on 1000TOYS and their line of 1:12 action figures. First I fell for them, now MattK, and I am certain that soon we will all become victims to this line of superposable 6-inch action figures.

TOA Heavy Industries is 1000TOYS property for all things robotic, starting with the Synthetic Human, branching out to C.A.R.B., and there are even more robot thingies on the way. It’s a great line of action figures coming out of a small company focusing on something different with a ton of engineering.

For the most part, C.A.R.B. uses the same base as the Synthetic Human, but clearly something’s gone awry story-wise as the C.A.R.B. has a few different parts, specifically some less human-looking parts and more square robot parts. In addition to being more robotic, the parts are also full-on psycho killing. The right hand has a fold-out blade, the right foot also has a fold-out blade, and the left arm is all robo with some push-out swords. I don’t know the whole story, and there probably is a story, there always is, and whatever it is, I’m certain it’s cool.

This figure is great. I’ve had zero quality issues. I’d heard there were some issues from the Synthetic Human, but I’ve yet to experience them. C.A.R.B. is a straight-up solid figure with a beautiful design and excellent engineering. The figure is superposable and is pure hand candy.

This is a great figure, and if you still want to get one, you can. And I recommend that you do. They are small for Marvel Legends scaling, but they will fit in with S.H. Figuarts, figma, and most true scaled 6-inch lines. If you are looking for G.I. Joe-type of Battle Android Trooper, these might make for a good substitute.
