Hasbro had their usual epic Marvel Legends brawl diorama and some previously announced figures on display for Preview Night. Click through for more pics of the Hasbro Marvel Legends display!
The only brand new to me figure I saw in the display tonight was this Anti-Venom looking Deadpool. Looks like a fun variant. It’s a Gamestop exclusive and will come with extra hands and an alternate repainted Superior Venom head.
They also had quite a few announced figures on display so it was cool to get a close up look at the Thor wave and the Netflix wave that I don’t have yet. I’m really impressed with the movie and netflix figures likeness and paint work.
Finally, we have the awesome brawl diorama featuring tons of Marvel Legends figures and quite a few clever customs.
Checking this display is always a highlight of my Comic-Con.
Think it’s supposed to be some random AIM agent that was jumped. It looks like whoever was in the AIM outfit over the table had stolen the guy’s uniform. Same as Amadeus Cho, who also seemed to have been in AIM disguise until he Hulked out.
I think the likeness on Hela is nearly as good as that on the Hot Toys version.
Yeah Hela looks great. The face sculpts on the movie figs can be hit or miss but they really nailed this.
love that thor racknock hulk. and also blade snuck in that defenders wave there plus a new human torch two figures closer to a new ff again
I’m not fond of the yellow head on the Torch, but I’m still eager to have him.
That is the X-Force SDCC exclusive Psylocke from a few years ago.

Oh man, of all the Deadpool variants, why’d they have to go with the one that’s the most… bland?
I mean, there’s X-Force Deadpool, blue-with-yellow-piping X-Men Deadpool, yellow-with-blue X-Men Deadpool, literally-just-Deadpool-in-an-X-Men-shirt-X-Men Deadpool, Exiles Deadpool, Classic Deadpool, First Appearance Deadpool, Ultimate Deadpool (which has the benefit of being from the video game Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions cuz, y’know, Gamestop) Deathwish, Evil Deadpool, Cablepool, Dreadpool, Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Deadpool 2099…
I’m just sayin’, of all those options, they went for the one that’s the least visually interesting. I get that Deadpool: Back in Black is kinda relevant at the moment, but it’s not a good look.
That pink sword the Deadpool/Venom character has makes me hope we will see a new Psylocke soon!
Pretty diorama, same building as last year though? Or toy Fair. I think FosterThor is going to be a strong contender for my favourite comic Marvel Legends, what a beautiful looking figure. MCU Hela looks breathtaking as well, as do Thor and Hulk. What an incredible wave.
Excited to see what new reveals we get tomorrow (I think the Marvel panel is tomorrow?), because the only new thing here is Venompool and I haven o interest in that.
With Hasbro’s new face tech, I am not sure I need…gulp Figuarts again.

I wonder if the customs they sometimes use in their Big Brawl displays are to judge fan reaction and see if people are interested in certain characters. I remember a really sweet Blade figure from a few years ago that still hasn’t been released (but I guess the Man-Thing series Blade makes up for it), and those effects pieces like Psylocke’s psi-blade and Blizzard’s ice noodle are so rad looking, I really wish they’d include these with more figures.
