It’s always fun when pics pop up on Facebook. We saw the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wave 2 at Toy Fair this year but there is just something about pics like these, showing them carded, that make them more real. More awesome. More needed.
I’ve been wanting a Nebula since the first movie and Hasbro doesn’t disappoint.
Another Star-Lord following the wave 1 version should bum me out, but I’m excited for this one too. It’s different enough to warrant a purchase and I’ve seen a lot of people comment that they like the long coat look better. Win. Plus it looks like he’s picking up the check. “Excuse me, I’d like to put this on my Galaxy Express card, thank you.” That’s always good.
Ex Nihlo is one of those characters that I haven’t a clue about but I’m….I…..ah, who am I kidding, I’m trying to find a justification for buying him here but I’m blanking. Nothing against the figure or character but to me, this is another $20 between me and Mantis (the BaF for the wave). It doesn’t bother me much because every wave has that figure for someone, we’re used to it by now. It’s fine, deep breaths.
Death’s Head is a great get though, in my book. I’ve always dug this character and the the figure looks great. See? This is where those of you who like Ex Nihlo and hate Death’s Head can disagree with me. And that’s perfectly okay.
This Gamora looks to be better than the original GotG Legends version, which is good because I’ll be glad to get that thing off the shelf.
Not my preferred look for Adam Warlock but I’ll take it. And with new rumors that Gunn has plans for the character in the movies we may get another shot at him in the future.
Finally, Rocket Raccoon and baby Groot. I’m so happy they took another shot at Rocket with proper articulation.
So with these pics popping up now are we looking at a release date of June or July? Maybe?
