Marvel Legends Winter Soldier and Falcon Loose Pics

Dubbed “Captain America Legends 2.5,” both Falcon and Winter Soldier from Civil War are coming to Walmart as exclusives. You and I both knew we’d see them loose from overseas first, though.

And yeah, I think they look awesome. The first Winter Soldier was okay, but I’m really liking this new one.

Bucky only comes with a pistol and knife, the added weapons are from the photographer’s stash. NECA, Little Armory, etc.

The odd thing, though, is this Bucky seems shorter than the first Winter Soldier figure, who was really tall, but still too tall because Cap and Buck should be about the same height.

And given the figure is about this tall compared to the Figuarts AOU Cap (look at where the shoulders fall) …

You get the idea. Shoulders are off, but ML Cap’s head is also higher, so it may bridge that gap to make the two look more natural together.

Falcon is also looking pretty sweet.

Falcon comes with wings, backpack, and Red Wing, so any weapons added were from something else.

It looks like Sam’s height does fall more in line with the movie.

  1. Falcon was so cool in Civil War that I’m now let down that he doesn’t have articulated wings to block bullets.

  2. These look great, but Bucky’s face looks a bit off. Will definitely look out for these though

  3. This Bucky looks to be mostly reuse from the Winter Soldier figure except for the torso and head. The first Winter Soldier was really tall, even for other ML movie figures.

Simple solution: Figuarts needs to do a Bucky. Because I need it.

  4. Is this a totally new WS Bucky sculpt? The Little Armory weapon looks a bit undersized when he holds it. Was going to pass on the ML Civil War Cap in favor of the Figuarts version, but if Bucky’s this tall I might reconsider.

Also, I’m wondering if this is a new trend for ML figures—I like the proportions of my Ben Reilly Spidey (based on the “Pizza-Spidey” body), but standing upright he’s taller than most of my older ML figures (Electro, D-Man, Iron Man). I can get away with it as my Spidey figures are usually posed crouched, but I worry that future figures won’t be int he same scale.

  5. plus interesting that walmart is back getting exclusives again for thought that stopped

  6. love how both come close to nailing the actors playing winter soilder and falcon in the movie . surprised they were not made in the ml style.

  7. I said it before, what I really want for a Winter Soldier figure is a head with the face mask but no goggles.

  8. As Elo said below, a Sam-Cap is coming this summer and looks great. I’m with you in that I’m not reading the series but I’m really excited for the figure because that costume looks amazing.

I would guess we’ll see a Jane Thor in the next 2 years. We’ve already had a 3 3/4 version of her so I think it’s just a matter of time before we get a 6inch. A tie-in wave with Thor:Ragnarok would be a perfect opportunity.

  9. Is there an alternative head for bucky? Sad looking toys by this review (not the review but the toys.) I don’t know about these…I’ll wait until I see them in the wild…

  10. This WS is leagues better than the last. I’m not sure I’ll pick him up, but I am happy that those interested are getting a solid toy.
