Another lazy Sunday and I’m just…wait a minute, it’s Friday! Truth be told, any day is a good day to be checking out custom action figures on eBay, and today it’s all about Marvel Legends.
When I search for custom Marvel Legends, it’s usually to look at characters that haven’t been made in the line yet. But sometimes there are upgrades to ones we do have. Either way, customizers are awesome, so I thought I’d show off some of the work I’ve ran across today.
We desperately need a Monica Rambeau on our shelves, and even though this isn’t classic Captain Marvel, Photon is just as sweet.
We’ve already gotten one Iron Fist. And then another Iron Fist in another color. We have an upgrade to the first Iron Fist coming. But I want THIS Iron Fist…
Just a fantastic Crystal. Fantastic. Hey, we need Fantastic Four too. But this one’s about Crystal.
While we’re talking Inhumans though, we’ve received a couple of Black Bolts but this one, this one right here, takes the cake. Alternate heads, tuning fork electricity, a screaming attachment, and a build more suitable for the king of the Inhumans? Yeah baby.
You can’t ask any fan of the Inhumans who their biggest want is without hearing Lockjaw. And while this Lockjaw seems very slightly skinny, it’s freakin’ awesome. The sitting pose just does it for me.
I’m always trying to find different way to display my figures, and so far I have expanded from “stand figures in vanilla poses on plain shelf” to “put figures in slight action poses on plain shelf.” So when I see something like this diorama it makes me dream of sprucing up my own displays.
And then there is always Polaris. When??? When will we get a Polaris??
Argh, DC always invading my searches. This isn’t even a Marvel Legends base body. But this Grifter is one of the best I’ve seen so I couldn’t help including him.
Displaying isn’t just about settings, it can also be about vehicles. Can someone tell me what was used for the base of this Deadpool chimichanga truck? It calls to me. Love the mud and dirt effects here.
We got a Domino waaaaay back, but this Domino blows it away. Just the pose alone caught my eye as I was scrolling. Not for that reason, perv.
Here’s a LooseCollector piece that uses the Tamashii effects to their full potential. It not only makes me want a kickass Sunspot but I also need to rush to Amazon to pick up some effects. Thanks a lot, LS.
