I have been called evil. I have been called a demon. I have been called the devil himself.
But these are weak words spoken by cowards who will never understand. I have no patience for cowards, and less for weakness.
If you seek to understand me, look to a sword: a perfect instrument, forged by heat and pain, tempered and purified. There is beauty and artistry behind every well-built sword.
But there is also death.
Evil? Maybe my deeds will be judged as evil one day. I am not concerned with the viewpoints of rigid minds. I do not think in such basic terms.
Is there evil in the heart of a man who seeks to better himself every day? Is there a demon lurking in the soul of a man who will never bow to another?
Would I be called a good man if I were to humble myself?
If deeds are what defines a man as the hero or the villain of his own story, then I will not shrink from how I am defined.
Let them call me evil. Let them call me demon. Let them call me devil.
The power in those words is fuel for what I am trying to build. They make me invincible. They make me immortal.
I will accept only the legacy I create. I will wear the face I forge for myself through deeds, and I will reject those who could never understand.
Myths are not created by the weak.
