Uh oh. Fwoosh’s cannonball is not impressed with Figma’s new Indiana Jones and it looks like there will be a scathing review coming up. This is really disappointing as this was one of my most anticipated purchases, I love Indiana Jones, seen all the movies multiple times and I’ve been missing a good six inch version from my shelf. cannonball’s quick pick seems to look ok, I was already aware of the horrible head likeness and was planning on seeing if anyone had the Hot Toys head and Fedora that would be willing to shrink it down for the sculpt. cannonball and I are usually eye to eye with figures, his comments have me worried.
Got mine too. What a hot mess. I thoroughly regret this purchase.
I hate the way they executed the whip, his wrist pegs don’t stay in place for shit, paint apps on his face make him look either 60 or diseased, etc. His “decorative holster” severely limits movement of his right leg. Really struggling to find something to like about this.

In other news Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts Sadako from the Ring received an official press release today. And oh my! I am looking so forward to this figure. I mean how creepy will this be to have hanging out in the bedroom? I’m thinking there will be some serious warring going on between Aliens, Predators and Sadako in the very near future.
Finally this popped up in my inbox today, the Hercules Trailer for Dwayne Johnson’s (THE ROCK) new movie. I’ll be the first to admit, I am going to see it and I love that this movie has Saturday Matinee Popcorn written all over it. While I was watching the trailer I couldn’t help but get a Dark Souls/Dark Souls 2 video game vibe to the movie. That just makes me want a Dark Souls movie, or TV series. Let’s hope the movie is as good as the trailer.
