On December 13th 2010, Actorjez Customs (the studio behind the popular, pulp-inspired Legends of the Lost Era action figure line), announced a groundbreaking development deal unprecedented in the history of licensed properties. The studio will collaborate with toy giants Mattel, Hasbro, and DC Direct to create “The Actorjez Collection”: full assortments of various action figure lines from each company, available only on The Fwoosh.
“Actorjez Customs has always been about subtlety, detail and an unapologetically joyful love of comic book history,” said John Jezior, CEO of AJ Customs. “With my longtime friends and partners at The Fwoosh, I look forward to translating the rich history of each company’s property through the same prism we’re known for.”
On the second day of CustomCon 27, the studio unveiled the next action figure line to receive the Actorjez Collection treatment: DC Direct!
On the fourth day of CustomCon 27, the studio unveiled the next action figure line to join Super Powers, DC Direct, and DCUC in receiving the Actorjez Collection treatment: Marvel Legends!
The Actorjez Collection: Marvel Legends Series 1 was developed with an eye towards recapturing the magic of the original Toy Biz designs. It will be a limited edition, viewable only on The Fwoosh.
