This week’s featured custom is GrownNerd’s Griffin:
Griffin is one of the Marvel Morts I love and would have killed to get in Marvel Legends. I dig the use of the Etrigan base body for this character. The tank like build is perfect for this bruiser of a character and the wings from ML Angel look beautiful on him.
I think my favorite aspect of this custom is the Lion face sculpted over the Etrigan face. He looks super creepy and more formidable than I recall him ever looking in the comic. I also love the attention to detail and effort that went into articulating the wings and making sure the head had enough mobility to do flying poses well.
