1) After seeing the pictures of Prime Megatron, and Bumblebee for War for Cybertron, a lot of people on here are pretty stoked. Are these slated to be universe figures, or will they have their own subline?
We definitely share your excitement for these new figures. The team has done an awesome job collaborating with Activision to bring these figures to life on the video screen and in the toy aisle.
2) There’s been a lot of movie characters that are now being offered in smaller scales. which is awesome. Is there a focus being done here on “re-scaling” these guys to better fit in the movie verse, or is this just happy coincidence?
It’s more of a happy coincidence than trying to fit within a specific scale. When we are trying to focus on scale, we deliver this sort of expression in lines like Human Alliance where we can pay great attention to all of the little details. Ultimately our intention was to introduce more top tier characters at differentiated price points than we have during Movie 1 and Revenge of the Fallen.
So to actually answer your question, these figures will be in the new Generations line.
