This week there are some great Marvel customs up for sell on the Bay. Whether you’re in the market to buy or to use them as reference or inspiration for your own customs, looking through some of these are sure to tickle your fancy.
First up, the cause of great controversy back in the day, is a custom Professor X Hoverchair. A little bit rough but look at all the detail packed into this thing. Even the arm rests flip open!
This custom Cyber has some excellent shading. It really makes what could have been a boring blue just pop.
While the eyes may, MAY be a tiny bit low on this mask, you gotta admit that this Toxin is spiffier than the Hasbro version.
This is the Mystique we should have gotten.
It’s just a repaint, but Banshee being a part of a completed old school X-men team pic just made me happy. We need a Thunderbird, original Storm, and Sunfire! And Cyclops from that era. And a thinner Colossus. And that Kitty. And a shorter Wolverine…
Speaking of Colossus, here’s a custom Age of Apocalypse Colossus that actually makes me like that design.
I love the translucent blast hand on the custom Blastaar.

A personal favorite, Madrox. While I don’t like that body, I’m willing to live with it because of the brilliant head choice here. I’m stealing this one.
Made from what looks like a 12-inch DCUC body, Hank Pym sports his modern style costume. Those lines are CLEAN!
House of M Hawkeye is insane. Absolutely insane.
As is this Wonderman. The metallic paints just puts it over the top.
Another over the top custom, this White Queen is perfectly awesome. Sculpt, paint, even the sheen makes me giddy.
Wondering what to do with the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Electro you bought? Here’s a no paint (on the body at least) solution in the form of Night Thrasher. Is that a Fantomex head with some tweaks?
And hey, there’s Deadpool. He’s everywhere. What would an article showing off Marvel Legends be without a custom Deadpool? The arms are slightly long but I like the this stocky take on the Merc with a Mouth.
