Like the Emperor earlier this evening, here’s new images of what looks like the final factory version of the SDCC Star Wars Black Series vintage style Boba Fett. And not to lead you astray, a new image of the retro carded Hulk, but just the outer white mailer box. Still nifty though.
A little piece of mind to know that the card will be fairly well protected.
As for Boba Fett, we just got carded images a week or two ago, showing the new foil look to the card and an E-11 taking the place of the standard Fett pistol. Here’s that pic.
The new pic brings the warning back to the lower graphic, but you’ll also notice the pistol is back in the holster.
As for the figure itself, it’s gotten dirtier along with silver scuffs added to the dents and dings. The original promo shot…

Again notice the pistol poking through the bottom of the holster.
But I’m torn. The added silver almost makes it seem like the same realistic feel of the standard figure, just in classic inspired colors. The cleanliness of the original prototype, especially the red of the helmet, made it feel “vintage.” Weird I notice it now on the loose figure when that extra scuffage was on the previous carded shot, but it is what it is. I don’t hate the change, it just makes me feel differently about it. I’ll still buy the hell out of this if I get the chance.
