Whew! Been busy lately. Too busy. But I found myself browsing eBay today and ran across some nice customs. Some Marvel Legends and some robes for the 6-inch Star Wars Black Series. And capes for ML too?
I have to admit, I haven’t read comics in a while, so I only have a passing knowledge of Blue Marvel. But this custom is so clean I had to look twice.
We should have gotten a movie style Yellowjacket in ML. We need more MCU villains.
Movie style Guardians of the Galaxy are nice, but some love for the classic GOTG is always welcome. Charlie-27 fits that bill nicely.
Kaine isn’t the highest character on my NEED list, but if a retail figure came out this nice, I’d buy it.
The face on this Shatterstar looks a little more old and gruff for my taste, but it instantly made me want the old X-Force team in full. With more X-men coming hopefully Hasbro can find places to sneak those in. Please?
I actually ran across two version of Dr. Spectrum, and both are nice. I love how the face on the female Spectrum was done, and the metallic colors on the male Spectrum tickle my fancy.
Obligatory Deadpool! For some reason the way the neck transitions to the head is my favorite part, but I do like the figure overall. Just a clean stripped down version.
Pixie is another character you can only hope slips into the X-men assortment, but chances are slim. But you never know, right? I can only hope it’s as nice as this custom if it does happen.

One of our Fwoosh Top 10 Ladies in Green was announced at NYCC in the form of Jim Lee Rogue, and I’m happy as hell, but seeing her in the Uncanny Avengers costume here makes me want this one too. Never completely happy, the life of the action figure collector.
Speaking of the Ladies in Green, how do we not have Polaris yet? Look at this recipe. Easy and looks great.
Switching gear over to Star Wars, I’ve posted about the custom fabric robes made by richor409 before. VeeBee even got one for his Obi-Wan and it works great. And they are fairly cheap if you want to go that way for both Obi-Wan and Yoda.
What I hadn’t seen because of my time away from eBay is the tunic and robe he has available for Jedi Luke.
Or his capes he’s made for ML Vision and Scarlet Witch.
I realize they both have hoods. I can see Wanda having one no probelm, but it looks odd on Vision. At least at first. With the hood up, I kinda like it, for whatever reason.
It’s grown on me, but I realize it may not be the same with everyone. I wouldn’t trade it for the trademark Vision collar though.

These box sets need to happen. Not to mention a Mutant Liberation Front box set. How hard would a Zero figure really be?

That is the x-men legacy rogue costume rather than uncanny avengers. I would KILL for an uncanny avengers style figure
