Jitsu and Fisto were two well-received Masters of the Universe Classics figure releases, but one common quibble I read online was that the head sculpts did not feel quite “Classic” enough. Instead of cursing the darkness, Jim Pansen Creations decided to light a candle in the form of two new head sculpts designed to be used in conjuction with your existing Fisto or Jitsu figure with a more vintage figure feel.
The heads are cast in a solid plastic and have nice detailed sculpts that definitely have a very classic, vintage figure feel to them.
Fisto, in particular, has a very Earl Norem vibe to his thick brow and upturned mustache.
Jitsu has the vintage teeth-grinding look, and I especially like the larger size of this head.
It does really remind me of how oddly stereotypical that original figure was…but that’s what the figure was, so I can’t really fault anyone for wanting that style in MOTUC.
The paint jobs are amazingly smooth and professional and match up nicely with the base bodies.
The heads easily pop on to the existing MOTUC pegs and can be used on other MOTUC bodies if you choose.
Personally, I’m a fan of the original head sculpts for these two figures, though they are a bit too small for my taste.
I don’t think I would have known I wanted these until I saw them, and I have to say I really enjoy the more classic look on both of these figures. I love that talented fans share their creations with the rest of us and we have so many more options for displaying our favorite characters. It’s a good time to be a fan.

Perfection!! I wish the Classics heads did not get such detailed treatments. Totally different to the treatment of He-Mans head etc…
While I can respect and admire the work of the heads…that Jitsu head would never get displayed in my house. It’s such a stereotype, put some glasses on him and you’ve got Mr. Yunioshi. I know it would offend my wife or her family. But, I know that’s simply because the vintage head was modeled that way.
The Fisto head is pretty cool. I like the eyebrows and mustache.
side by side comparison pictures would be nice
That’s great work.
I agree wholeheartedly. I did not think I needed these re-dos, but the quality totally won me over. Great stuff.
While I’m not a fan of the Vintage Jitsu look, the Head is amazing! The Fisto head is PERFECTION!
