Tonight is short and sweet. There still isn’t a lot going on but what do you expect with Toy Fair right around the corner? The calm before the storm. Quiet. A little too quiet. So how about some import news? It’s Happy Hour!
No lead-in needed, this is S.H. Figuarts Camera Man and Patrol Lamp Man!
These characters come from a TV anti-piracy campaign in Japan where Camera Man is always trying to pirate movies while Patrol Lamp Man is always there to stop him.
Now, while I’m all for crazy headed action figures, I collect MOTUC for Grodd’s sake, I’m also interested in unique fodder and these look to be great suit bodies. A bit skinny, yes, and I’m unsure of scale, but oh the possibilities.
These will be 3,000 yen ($25) and available in August.
Everyone is excited about S.H. Figuarts Super Mario, and it looks like he goes up for preorder soon!

NECA announced that their Scalers line will arrive in two weeks!
