The shipping will be annoying for sure, but I thought the base price might be more.  $35 a figure is the NECA standard now, I thought they might bump it up for an exclusive.

70 is more than I was expecting. I only want one set.

Here is where to go to place an order:  https://store.necaonline.com/collections/2024-convention-exclusives

FYI - the sale is supposed to be at 12 PM EST, but the countdown as of this post is ending at 12 PM CST (11 AM EST) so maybe be prepared to check an hour earlier than expected.

Thank you for the link.

The only thing that...not worries me, but irks me if my assumption is true...the e-mail NECA sent this morning only shows & names the Predator & Earl Sinclair.

Both my managers are out of the office today. I would love to not have to grab these tomorrow or Friday (especially since I'm busy with WORK at the exact f***ing time tomorrow AND Friday...*sigh*)

Order secured. Shipping for me was 11 bucks so hopefully that's true for others.

Thank Christ.

Same on shipping. Tax was $7, though. Yay, IL.

Jesus Christ.

They should've limited 'em to 1 each...

Maybe. I still think the limit of 4 is a strong indication that they've made a lot. If Friday rolls around and a bunch of folks are left empty-handed then it will open NECA up to criticism on the quantity limit. I also don't think this is the last we'll see of these sculpts. It may turn out the packaging is what winds up being exclusive to San Diego, or the deco, or maybe some of the weapons. Then again, I figured we'd see regular release of Irma and Burne from that SDCC set which never came to pass (though that set was famously available at Target for months after release so maybe sales played a role) so I have certainly been wrong with my assumptions before.

I think they may break these two figures up and sell them individually.  I also suspect black and white versions could happen.  Surprised we haven't seen any other black and white repaints other than the WM Shredder and Foot as well as Target's Usagi.   I imagine the Lawson Turtles will be released in b&w at some point.

They probably should've even started with the black & white two-pack con-exclusive, and then went to full colored single releases available through fan channels. They even could've charged a smaller, more-two-pack price, and then the $35 each Ultimate price later on. Oh well. Happy I got an order in, still will be nervous until I have them in hand.

Also, @misfit, the closest Target to my new apartment still has two Channel Six sets with the spider-locks. They're pretty dusty. 🤣

I want the Channel 6 set, but just Burne and Irma really, and I don't want to pay more than $60 for them. Over $100 left me behind. I imagine there are others who feel the same.

But if it went on sale, I might not be able to say no.

Black and white definitely seems like a given, though I think it should've been the exclusive version.  I could see them releasing these two separately without all the other weapons since the original sketches don't include them.  I dunno.  Maybe it'll be like the VHS movie Turtles and basically only the packaging will end up being exclusive...

Relieved to say I was able to get an order in today and don't have to think about this anymore this week. 🙂
