Glad to see the forums back up! On that note, I'm not a TMNT guy, but I only saw recently that NECA released a figure based on Jack Kirby's appearance in the TMNT comics. Thought I might be out of luck since Target doesn't have it in stock any longer, but it looks like it should be available elsewhere in the coming months. Is that correct?

Awesome. I'll keep an eye out. Thank you!
(I do have the Marvel Legend, but this bootleg head that came out before it was even announced is not only identical in sculpt, but executed a better likeness in paint, and the McFarlane Stranger Things kid body it came on from AliExpress feels more "Stan the Man" to me than the lithe athletic one Hasbro gave us lmao)
Well, here's something I missed entirely while it was going on: a Kickstarter for a remastered version of all of Palladium Books' old TMNT RPG books, in two volumes and in color. Luckily, there's a link to pre-order even though the campaign's ended. 'Spensive though.
Relevant because Laird and Eastman did art inside, and there is definitely stuff in there that I would love to see as figures, if possible.
@cmoney I backed it for the core rulebook and the book with the adventures. I still have my copy of the original rulebook and was pretty excited for this Kickstarter. The original rulebook had a short TMNT story in it so I'm wondering if the new one either has the same story or, better yet, a new one.
The original game system was clunky and took FOREVER to make characters (seriously, the amount of cross referencing and going back and adding slight bonuses and penalties for everything as you build out your character is incredibly time consuming), but was fun to play once it got going. It's kinda cool that they're keeping it for this new release.
I'm one of those double-weirdos who doesn't play RPGs but still buys and reads some of the books anyways. 🙂

So I've been keeping an eye out on the Target app to see if any of my local stores would restock. All stores say not available or no longer available. I've also been checking local Targets every time I pass one. Nothing.
On Youtube, I watch a video from a fellow collector where he goes to all the sections where toys are typically found. The aisle, the back section with all the Funko/Neca items...those are where I typically check.
I didn't realize that some TMNT stuff can be found on an endcap. I had to go to my local Target yesterday to pick up my dad's prescriptions. Check the aisle and back section...nada. I then walk down a few aisles from the back section and see an endcap with toys. Bam. It's there. Grabbed it.

Wow, that Stan is cool! I now want that. Even though I have the ML...
I don't even remember what I searched to find it, it was so long ago. Maybe just "Stan Lee action figure," I guess?

that's MOST people. (who are into them)
Once you get to a certain age you can't get people together for games night anymore.
Did this ever get brought up? Eastman was selling artwork for that leaked City at War Karai figure:
I'm assuming this Tuesday is when we're gonna see some TMNT SDCC exclusives revealed, given that the online pre-sale is starting in a week and a half. Logging a guess in this thread, we'll see how I do: black and white concept Turtles for the con, with (HOPEFULLY) color versions being released wide later on.
EDIT: Since the pre-sale doesn't start until next Wednesday, I suppose it's possible they hold off on TMNT, or at least some TMNT, until that Tuesday...

Playmates IS doing black & white sketch turtles for SDCC, so I don't know if NECA would do something similar, but you never know.
