Kaiju Daddy posted a review of Luke. He calls it the definitive Luke Skywalker in 1:12 scale, and one of the top 3 Mafex releases of 2024.
While I'm one of the few who prefers the headsculpt (or at least, its paint job) to the SHF one, there's a bunch of other stuff about this that isn't doing it for me. The ugly thigh swivel and the way the shoulders hang, plus the fact it's a full 1cm taller than the SHF one really puts me off. Luke is a short arse, I got no use for an overly tall Luke that will stand out so much in a mainly Figuarts display.
It's a pity, as the actual outfit and cloak are great, and the swoosh sabre gets the blade right where Hot Toys have failed repeatedly.
Yeah, not a huge fan of the bulky, slouchy shoulders. Kind of reminds me of how their T2 Arnold turned out.
Looks like 4-LOM is coming this month along with two others.
A new SW reveal this month, an Obi-Wan series Vader, fully cloth robes finally. The robes have some really nice pleats going, and he comes with Reva's dual/split sabres but eh, I'm happy with the SHF one.
