Didn’t the original Two-Bad have sculpted scale texture on the left side? I’d hope they do that on an Origins version. But this one doesn’t seem to have that texture, and if that’s the case, then I want a new torso for the Origins version with textured parts.

I’d prefer that, but I wouldn’t count on it. I just can’t imagine them making two versions of the two-headed torso.

I hadn't looked too closely at the promotional images, until I came into this thread.   Totally agree with what is being said.   I thought I'd get this Two-Bad, but he is a little disappointing.  I'm trying to limit how many of the Cartoon figures I'm getting (almost tapped out for what I want).   I do want an Origins Two-Bad, but this figure(s) itself is a bit lackluster.   Not sure when they'll get around to an Origins Two-Bad.  I imagine it's still a ways off since they'll likely not want to release multiple Two-Bads too close together.  Especially as they'd both be via Creations (and/or SDCC itself).

I’m surprised they’re already delving into cartoon versions of later characters like Webstor and Two-Bad before guys who were definitely more prominent like Ram Man or Whiplash or Fisto or Clawful.

Realistically, I too am worried they won’t get around to the Origins Two-Bad of my preference and this is all we are getting, or at least just a singular version that doesn’t split into two figures.

Ugh. Boo. All these years and it's gonna be a Cartoon collection Two-bad? Or, can we hope it's just for SDCC and we might get a true vintage Mattel Creations offering? They've tooled the main body, so hopefully it's not a ton of work to make a toy version.

I have no doubt there will be an Origins version of Two-Bad, I’m a lot more skeptical we’ll ever get Origins Tuvar and Baddrha.

I'm excited to get the cartoon version first. We have had 3 versions of Two Bad but never a cartoon version until now.

So Toyhabits did a stream on this and one of the chat posts pointed out that the picture of Two-Bad combined has the trunks/crotch piece backwards.   I had to take and look and sure enough the photo has the crotch piece backwards.

That's what I love about this hobby sometimes.   Someone was invested enough to take a closer look and saw the mistake when I never would have noticed.

I do not have an eye for detail when it comes to my figures.  I don't think I want to know how many figures I have with two left thighs, missing paint apps, or general imperfections that I just never noticed when I first got them.  I wouldn't have noticed that picture either if they hadn't pointed it out on the stream.  It is both a blessing and a curse I guess.

I spotted the same thing yesterday but didn't bring it up. I didn't want to come off as COMPLETELY negative about the set. That seemed like an honest mistake, but I'm also happy that they have engineered hips so that they can be removed/swapped. I wish that was the case on more Origins figures. I do really like the presentation of the packaging. That might be worth it alone. If I get a set, I'm definitely keeping the package.

I keep seeing Scareglow with the Scare Mare from other companies, first Mondo and now Funko, how can we get in on this?

@valo487

Agreed!  An Origins Scare Mare would be very welcome.  I'd buy one right now.

Night Stalker showed up, and much to my surprise, it’s an entirely different sculpt than Stridor!

just kidding, it’s the exact same

He does come with a Snake Mountain themed display base though.

So,  a Scare Mare only exists if they decide to do Swift Wind, Arrow, etc...    There's no way they tool up a horse for single use.    But since Origins isn't doing a lot of PoP characters currently the horses are probably not on the front burner.    If they have plans to do more PoP characters in Origins and they intend to release Swift Wind and Arrow then maybe they do Scare Mare first.

@valo487 Just snag a Stridor, or Night Stalker and staple on some wings from some bat, or dragon type character, paint it up with some GITD paint and BAM!!  Scare Mare!!!

Honestly I would love a Scare Mare in Masterverse after seeing Mondo's version.  An Origins version would be nice too, but I think Masterverse would be a better fit.
