I'm surprised by some of the reactions to Terroar. I absolutely love the design. I know it is reuse, but that has been the case for MOTU ( and other lines) forever. I love the colour scheme and using Trapjaw's parts as well makes it interesting to me. I also missed Whiplash so I would like to get the mold.
Necro-Conda looks great as well, but I am mostly interested in the tail to use with other figures. Man I love the mix and match aspect of Origins.
Lord Grasp is where I fall off. I just find the figure ugly from top to bottom. The colour scheme, the cape, the head sculpt. etc. I just don't "feel" it right now. Maybe if I can get one in hand it will be different, but for now it is the one figure I would be okay with not getting.
@supercamel-1982 Do they have a page with still images? I really don't care to watch videos.
@canprime - It's not necessarily the reuse, it's the hodgepodge nature of the reuse on Terroar. It's like, "what are the coolest parts of every MotU villain? Let's throw them onto ONE figure and make it the kewlest!" I like each character with his own gimmick, not 3-4 gimmicks.
@supercamel-1982 perfect thanks so much! loving that Lord Gr'asp figure they previewed
@normdapito they do have a page, it's just as Super Camel described, otherwise you can go straight to their website https://toyhabits.com/category/motu/
Did they ever say when the Lady Slither Castle crowdfund would begin?

I'm betting that gets announced during the next stream.
I don't want to say that Toy Habits is clickbaity but I don't really know a better word for it. I just really don't like the reporting style, I guess. It's like an entire full page article with a hundred pictures and four paragraphs that just says 'they're also making Evil-Lyn, but I don't have any pictures of the actual figure yet.' Their posts are the toy news equivalent of 'this could have been an email' after a four-hour meeting.
That's why I will eternally love places like Fwoosh, where I can come and see someone post a rumors/confirmed list that aggregates the fourteen fucking articles someone like Toy Habits puts up, and takes all of seven seconds to actually read.
Surprised by how quick Rokkon has been sent out to those who were able to order. Also surprised by how botched the scale seems to be. They measured to the top of his head plate for the full height, so standing next to an average figure like He-Man, Rokkon's head/eye level is much lower. Makes me a lot more relieved I didn't get the figure.

This 100%. Glad I’m not the only one who sees it.

He is the same height as the vintage figure though. He does however feel very cheap. Much flimsier feeling than all the other Origins. I almost wonder if they've had to make some cuts in order to fulfill their promise to finish out the other vintage figures, maybe using cheaper plastic.
I completely forgot about Rokkon on Friday because of work. It's funny, I used to constantly have Twitter on in the background for breaking news and stuff so I'd also always see posts by, like, Preternia and those guys and never missed anything. Betting Mattel never restocks or reissues. Kinda bummed. He's the first Mattel Creations exclusive I wanted but completely forgot was going up for sale.

I don't have Twitter anymore because of you know who, but Preternia also posts that stuff to his Discord. His is the only channel I am in on there so when I get a Discord notification I know it's him.
I got a shipping notification for Origins Cartoon/Filmation Teela and Trap Jaw from BBTS today. They are also in stock right now for anyone who needs them.
I oddly haven't got my Rokkon figure yet. Hopefully he arrives soon. Rokkon and Stonedar were always two of my favorites, so I'm excited to get him.
Origins Cartoon Teela hit my pile of loot. My preorder on Amazon says April 11th.
I just shipped Cartoon Trap Jaw, Teela x2, plus the latest Masterverse wave (Mekaneck, He-Man, Tri-Klops), along with the rest of my Pile of Loot. Can't wait.
