@jonaskane  At least you got an email.  Just checked and nothing in any of my folders.   I'm lucky that I already have almost all the Origins exclusives so I don't need any of them.   However I can see how that would be a kick in the teeth for others.

Also they have Snake Mountain for sale as well.  That may not be much news to you guys in the US, but here in Canada no one has seen it outside of individual online retailers, and they are all sold out.  So it gives us Canucks another option if we really want one.  I really want one, but $120Cdn is a bit much so I'll wait a bit and see if the regular retailers get any stock.

Man, I already had MOTU Origins Stridor, but now I have a second.  I found Stridor today at my local Wal-Mart on clearance for $9.00!

For $9.00 I had to buy it again.  I feel like if I had not bought it, I would have just been.......an asshole!

Man, seeing the little stop motion video with the Origins figures to tell the story of the Turtles of Grayskull, as well as more new figures like the Build A Figure Roboto/Metalhead and Turtle armor Teela just got me even more hyped for this crossover.

And in that little video, once again the He-Man figure was shown as the translucent purple plastic.  So, hopefully all the mutated MOTU characters will indeed be in translucent plastic, and not just painted.

Someone actually already has a review up of a Turtles of Grayskull figure.  it's the Donatello figure, and it seems like maybe he has the Man At Arms figure as well, so there should be a video for it soon.

But I just thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to see the packaging, look of the figure, and comparisons to some other Origins figures.

The Donnie figure looks really nice.  I like the accessories and love how the shell becomes a shield.

@supercamel-1982 Was just coming in here to post that. Pretty amazing how quickly this new line is getting out there. Mattel must be pretty stoked about the PR snowball that's rolling. Only thing that gave it pause was finding out that there are going to be retailer exclusives, which is a huge bummer for us non-US folks.

From the review itself, Don is looking great, but it's too bad his helmet isn't removable. With the photos we've seen, and having a ton of these figures in hand, there's not much to be surprised about here. They just look like good, solid toys.

Also, Mikey doesn't look battle cat inspired so much that he looks battle armor he-man inspired, down to having a blond wig. It's a strange look. They also have Leatherhead show up in the comic. May be an easter egg, but the Metal-boto reveal the other day suggests there are a ton of mash-ups we haven't seen yet, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of Whiplash/Leatherhead combo.

That guy also put up his review of MAA. Haven't watched either yet. But wait a second... when was it revealed these were going to be retailer exclusive? You're fucking kidding me.

@theknightdamien Not all of them, but apparently some of them, like the deluxes, may be exclusives. It may have been Retro Jay and a few others like Geek Dad Life who have been suggesting it.

A definite bummer for us Canadians...

@theknightdamien And let us not forget they also revealed that there will be a BAF now!!!

What's worse is that it looks like the BAF (Metal-Boto) parts will come with the deluxe figures.  So you'll have to collect the store exclusive figures to build the figure!!!!!  WONDERFUL!!!!  (There isn't enough sarcasm in the world  to reflect my feelings on this).

Man, if that's all true, I can definitely take solace in my decision to skip this series. Even with more reveals, I'm just not sold on the aesthetic. The redesigns are so busy. Add to that the idea that these will be a pain to collect, I can comfortably pass on them.

@normdapito I am going to be as all in as I can be up here in Canada.  I am surprised by how much I really like the aesthetic of the line and the mashups.  Plus I got in late to the WWExMOTU line and have been playing catch up with it where possible. 

I won't make that mistake here.  I love that they will fit in with the rest of the Origins buck figures and I can mix and match to my heart's content.

Yeah, I'll be doing online preorders for whatever I can get to lock these in. Do I *need* a Metal-boto? Wellllllll....that's not how this spending of my money for a dopamine hit works...

Looking at the big cross-sell announcement, it looks like the Deluxes will be MouseJaw, SlacKer, Krang and Mutated Moss-man. So not too bad actually. Was already in for two of them, and MouseJaw has one of th ebest looking Mousers in a long time, so he's a buy, and maybe I can sell the Moss Man to someone skipping the line.

From the animated video from For Eternia Official it looks like He-Man will be translucent after all. Not sure if that's been entirely confirmed, but i'd say it's 99%. Also, just love whatever they have Trap-jaw doing in that video when Skeletor is looking in his crystal ball. Playing on a phone? Just being a weirdo?

Cool that these figures come with freddie williams-drawn mini comics.  now just replace man-at-arms with mikey and this line would be a real winner.  dunno what the idea process was there.  saving him for a second wave? not that man-at-arms is bad but we have donatello...

Just checked out Mattel Creations to see if they were doing any sales for Black Friday and sure enough they have a pretty great sale for some select items. 

They are doing a BOGO sale (Buy One, Get One). However it is a true BOGO sale where it is buy one, get one FREE!!!  So basically if you buy two items at the same price you are getting them for 50% off each.  If not, you get the cheaper item free.

They don't have a ton of stuff MOTU on sale, but they do have the exclusive He-Man 4 pack set included.  So you could get two sets for the price of one right now.  The only other thing Origins included in the sale is Hypno.

Also they have Vykron, Dark-Lyn and Motherboard from Masterverse.

I finally opened Grayskull and Snake Mountain and I found I'm still terrible at applying stickers.  The throne sticker took me three attempts 🤣.  I've been trying to purge as many boxes as possible across my collections, but I decided to flatten both boxes for keeping.  I can't believe how many people are renting storage space in order to hold onto boxes.  No way am I going there.

I also got Moss Man.  I heard there are plenty around, but none of the stores in my area were carrying him except one about twenty miles away.  I thought I was going to have to go the eBay route because that one store had his shelf tag missing for awhile, but he just restocked again.

Absolutely bizarre that Mattel hasn't tried to get in even ONE vintage MOTUO figure from MattelCreations before the holidays. I keep expecting to see a Rio Blast or Extendar announcement as 'in stock and ready to ship before Christmas!' or whatever. But nope. Radio silence. That makes me sad.
