Despite Joe being something I only collect a little of these days... the Joe team really 'won' PulseCon for me. First of all.. Night Creepers?! PLEASE, fucking PLEASE let them be retro redos of the original design and not the Ninja Force design (although I'll take EVERYTHING Ninja Force.. I prefer the original Night Creepers). Also.. give me orange pants Night Creeper Leader, you cowards!

Another shot at the Snow Serpent is very welcome. AND Gnawgahyde?! He was one of my favorite figures for a very long time.

Metalhead looks like he's going to turn out to be incredible. He's another one that I absolutely love. I actually never owned the original version, only the V2, but I always wanted the original one. My neighbor had him growing up and he was one of my favorites that I never had. Techno-Viper looks great. I have always been a big fan of the 'laser' troopers like him and Sci-Fi. Super excited about the flip up wrist display and all that.

I am not a fan of Duke. I never have been. But boy is that new one tempting. They really did an amazing job on him, based on the render. Love that he has fists. I'm also not a Scarlett fan, but those two figures together are going to look amazing and it'll be hard to resist grabbing them both if I see them.

The Action Soldier/Sailor deluxe figures also look incredible. There's just so much stuff there. I had a bunch of the re-issue/re-make 12" figures that came out I think around the same time as the 'Hall of Fame' figures. Those were largely based on the original Joes that these are based on, so I feel like I -need- these. What a great homage to the origins of the brand. Absolutely love it. And it really looks like they poured a bunch of attention and care into them.

Everything else looked great as well, but I'm trying really hard these days to avoid the stuff that wasn't really important to me when I was young, else I'll be buying everything just based on 'that looks cool.'

Newb question - does Hasbro ever restock Pulse exclusives? Snow Job is starting to call to me, but not at $65.

Yes, the flight pods are currently back in stock after their first run. They didn't even sell out quickly the first time around. Even event exclusives get a re-run some times.

Yeah, I would agree on the Pulse exclusive stuff coming back. I myself am waiting on a Valkyries restock and feel pretty confident they'll be back. 

But as someone pointed out to me a few days ago — everyone felt good about being able to get our fill of Marvel Legend army builder two-packs ... (How they are not doing another run — or 50 — of the Skrull two-pack is incomprehensible to me.)

I hope they make shockwave's hat fit better when it releases, it looks weird.

Metal Head. That character and figure is insane. Hopefully the tolerance on those ball joints keeps the racket launchers from just falling over. Hopefully he gets good size feet. I have no idea what launchers ion your thighs would do. Seems it would put a lot of stress/force on an individual.

Well my Eels that were scheduled for October 20 got updated… TO TODAY!

They're neat. I liked Torpedo a lot so I figured these would be up the same alley. I’m curious what they’ll do with the teased Retro versions. These are already pretty damn classic. 

I can't wait for this two bad asses. I always loved metal head because he went toe to toe against Joe vehicles.

Buzzer...  Something seems off even though he looks dead on from the original.  Not sure what it is.  Anyway, glad we're seeing Dreadnoks released so close together.

For me it's the legs. The torso looks larger than the legs, it would have made more sense if the used the Zartan legs for buzzer too.

I'm excited for eveverything. Love the range of characters they're doing. Glad for those wanted the retro figures, they killed Joe stock at my WM. Probably close to 20 each of the first four.

Next month they are going to show off the vehicles it seems. I’m thinking this time next year there will be several Classified vehicles: HISS, RAM, VAMP, Trubble Bubble, SMS, Dragonfly, Ferret, COIL, and maybe some new vehicles not made from existing previous models.

Dollars to donuts the retro Eel and Snow Serpent will feature closer approximations of their classic gear: easy to sub in the AK-47 for the Serpent (maaaaaybe a new mortar), and then probably the Eel gets at least the idiosyncratic spear gun and possibly a new/reworked backpack. If I were to guess: no new parts for Serpent beyond swapping/decreasing gear load out (to remove the wolf pelts, and possibly the Bazooka gear as well, and ditching the Valkyrie weapon load besides the pistols out for the Officer AK), then putting the budget into new Eel parts. Beach-Head will need a fair amount of new parts if they really want him to be retro and I bet he gets the Gung-Ho treatment with new ARAH-accurate head and vest over the Stalker/Grunt body and and accurate rifle, so he’d be another budget-drainer. Recondo, of course, is all existing parts. So I’m gonna say: Serpent, nothing new but some swaps/reductions, ARAH paint deco being the main attraction; Recondo as expected, v1 deco/non-exclusivity the draw; Eel a medium-retool with new weapon and (hopefully) new backpack, deco mostly unchanged (unless they want to give us a skin tone alternative for the head, which would be awesome); Beach-Head basically a “new mainline-style” figure with appropriate new parts; then Scarlett and Cobra Commander (who we all know is coming along with these) being “all new” but actually “repaints” of Glenda and Mickey CC (but I bet they give CC the Officer long gloves and give him an explicitly Sunbow deco), and then Duke actually gets the most budget love as basically a whole new sculpt above the waist at least. It will be interesting to see if the retro line goes from “repaints with some occasional smart new parts” to more of a prime focus for new parts, with Classified getting riskier with character selection but also hitting with subteam-repaints and Desert Snake-Eyes-style kitbashes.

All-in-all, this line is just smashing it. 

@vicious7171 I agree! I just appreciate how much we’re getting for $25 right now, and don’t want the price to go any higher. Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black would be A LOT better if they were as well-stocked as Classified is, but that’s licensing for ya.

Who is the figure in full camo with a ton of accessories.  I'm buying it just for the .50 cal to give to Roadblock.  Finally getting rid of that tuning fork he came with!
