Very irrational, I know. Mindbender, shirtless with a cape? Just fine. Ice Cream Soldier, can't wait for him to show up.  Quick Kick.....? If he was dressed like Johnny from Cobra-Kai in his Dragon Fang Gi I could manage. F it, just make Johnny Lawrence a member of the joe team.

I'll be picking up at least 3-4 of what was shown today. I'm a convert based on coolness alone. I wish all of Hasbro's lines could be this well executed.

Same story here.  Never liked GI Joe in the 80s.  Briefly got into GI Joe Extreme just based off the cartoon "looking cooler" than I remember GI Joe being.  Not sure if any of those characters besides Klaw-whatever guy came over into the normal GI Joe universe.  Going to be getting a few of the ones seen today just based on how good they look.  Plus they come with a respectable amount of stuff compared to Marvel / Star Wars offerings.

Dance leotard Scarlett isn't the version I wanted, but it's a bit better than the techno-armor.

I'm garbage at customizing, but I wonder if I could at least put some pants on her.

@fletch See, that's where my $5 Ollie's movie Scarlett comes in. I think she works well mixed in with the standard line as a modern, non-leotard, non techno-armor looking Scarlett.

I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to swap in Helix's legs (which look identical to Scarlett v1 afaik) at the hip ball joints and just swap the crotch overlay.  But then again, sometimes these Joes stump me when trying to swap parts.  Like I couldn't get the female blue ninja's arms out to save my life (has anyone swapped/seen those swapped?).

I love the box art, the photos, the presentation, the design interpretation, the Easter eggs. Hasbro I will pay $29.95 for every standard release Marvel Legends figure if they had this level of design attention and accessories.

Brilliant! So happy with this line I'm going to add another bookcase next week for this years figure releases and vehicles.

$29.95? Geez, let’s not get carried away now. This is a fantastic line, but they’re at the limit of what I’m willing to spend for standard releases.

The retro releases are now mainline starting with Scarlet and Duke, right?

Have to admit I don't know who half of these are.  Shockwave is new to me, but may already be a favorite from the line, and after reading he was DPD S.W.A.T I'm even more hyped up for him.

Ripper is the win for me.  Solid figure.  Buzzer...  Something seems off even though he looks dead on from the original.  Not sure what it is.  Anyway, glad we're seeing Dreadnoks released so close together.

Pretty excited for all of these figures. Shockwave in particular looks super rad, as anecdotally he was my least favorite G.I. Joe as a kid. Can't really say why, I just didn't like him, ha.

@nilocomic in all fairness, dynamo said they'd pay that for MLs, not Joes.

Us Joe fans are eating well.  I do hope with you that they don't go up to $30 anytime soon, considering how these go on sale fairly often I don't see why they'd do that.  They'd be much better off printing less and leaning on FOMO and Deluxe releases at this point.
