I feel like an eventual Electro/Lizard 2 pack is what we will get. They like to pair a BAF size gut with a standard figure a lot. So I think when we get them, it's a 2 pack

Weird we get MJ only new from the waist up when they could have totally done that with Katy for Aunt May and given us an actual new character. They referred (without naming names) to Electro and Lizard very specifically. Someone "shocking" , I think, and someone else who was "sewer-dwelling."
Aw shucks. Well maybe May was sewer dwelling in her younger years lol. Meh, its to be expected I suppose. I'll certainly be excited to complete the villians but Peter and his Scoobies will forever be incomplete without ol' May imo. Thanks fir letting me know y'all!

What a middle finger to those who bought that 3 pack. I'd much rather have the Holland final suit than the other FFH version (wasn't a fan). I just preordered all but MJ, I have her from the two pack and don't need two of her. Pretty excited about the others though.
One thing that I didn't really think about until after the stream that made me quite happy was- no pesky store exclusives! I suppose they could always end up making Electro or Lizard a store exclusive, but how nice that it'll all be available widely! I do wonder if they'll consider Electro a deluxe, though. I'm sure he'll have a fair amount of new parts and overlays, plus all the electricity effects/mask. I'd be down with a 2 pack with Lizard too. Whatever lets me finish the Fiendish Five as quickly and hassle-free as possible. Since they mentioned that the Spidey likenesses weren't available to them previously, I wonder if that was the case with Jamie Foxx too, and that's why it's taking longer.
I got the 3 pack and have no shame about it. I've always wanted masked and unmasked versions of all the Spideys, so this is perfect for me! Looks like they're re-using the Homecoming civilian Peter head, so part of me wonders if I should just keep the Final Swing suit masked, since we never saw him without the mask, and use either my extra Peter head from the 2 pack or the extra Peter head from the Final Swing to make an unmasked NWH Spidey. Might save me a teeny bit of money.
It's a shame about the blister packs. Like the Across the Spiderverse wave- they're such beautiful cards. I rarely if ever have any shame tearing open the window boxes, but the blisters hurt sometimes. I've never been an in-box collector, but pretty art is pretty art!
At this point, May and Shocker are pretty much my 2 biggest (maybe only?) wants from Spidey. I'm pretty satisfied overall. I'd take another civilian 2 pack if they ever wanna make Flash and Betty, but I wouldn't consider them needs.

I have to agree. I'm really glad for those who expressed a lack of regret in this thread but it's been, what, a matter of months? Yes we knew about the wave a year ago with the leak but maaaaan that is still a kick in the pants for collectors.
And it's why I won't be surprised to learn in November they're doing a villain set for Amazon with lizard and electro, as well as Sandman, GG, and Doc Ock again for Christmas.
@ru1977 I think we may get a 5 pack eventually, but I don't think that will happen until Electro and Lizard are out in some other form. My reasoning is yes, they are high end wants for people. But I think they would sell better in a 2 pack or whatever. There will be people that don't wanna pay for a 5 pack to get them, and why do that at all when you sell them as a 2 pack and then do the 5 pack and do some small improvements and collectors will double dip anyway cause that's how we work?
As for the 3 pack regret, I got the 3 pack and...it's whatever, lol! Maybe the 3 pack helped them make Gobby and Ock better cause they double dipped? I am just gonna try and remain positive lol
@e-rock that's great. I'm glad you can see the positive side, and genuinely glad for all you guys who got the set and don't regret it. I didn't get it so it's not even my concern really.
And I hope you're right about Electro and Lizard. Maybe they'll pull a thing like Heimdall and Vision in the Endgame wave and just throw both villains in a Spider-Man 4 wave.

Shocker is one of my most wanted Legends figures. Sadly I think that's only ever gonna happen if Shocker pops up in a future movie. So, crossing my fingers Shocker ends up in the next Holland Spider-Man!
I still want but have given up on ever getting Hydro Man, lol. Would be nice to have all the Elementals to go with Mysterio. But that ain't happening lol
@ru1977 I think that's one way. I think they're gonna be a 2 pack eventually. But putting them in the Spider-Man 4 wave would be one other way they could do it. Though downside on that option is, that's years away at this point. Especially in strike world
