I hope Absorbing Man comes in his purple pants look, and Falcon in his more classic costume.

Well, if the rumored wave is to be believed it should be:

Spider-Man -   A basic red/blue costume but w/ a lenticular 'hologram' shield

Daredevil -  assuming a repaint of three pack DD in bright red like the SW toy

Falcon -  definitely in his classic outfit

Constrictor -  finally an upgrade on a better body,  another of the Europe only releases (as is Iceman)

Absorbing Man  -  pretty sure he'll be in purple pants since that's what he sported in the SW comics.  Assuming it will be on a smaller body than the BAF - maybe Hyperion?

The sixth figure in the line up is now rumored to be Magik... which is a bit 'left field' -  she does appear in Secret Wars II #8 and in the New Mutants crossover issues.   If this is the Magik included it should be the yellow/black training uniform version - so hopefully that's accurate.

As for other figures that could get a "one off" Secret Wars carded figure similar to Iceman

There is of course Electro -  who was one of the Europe only releases from Secret Wars, along with Iceman and Constrictor who both are getting figures

Colossus -  he was featured in the original SW comic,  but in Secret Wars II he was sporting a new red/white outfit that could be used for a solo release.   It's a version of Colossus we don't have and good reuse of Colossus parts they are running for the rumored Astonishing two pack

Thing -  the version in the black unitard as he appears at the end of Secret Wars is a definite want of mine.  They could do it as a single card release and tie it to a figure series (SW) that seems to be more successful or well received than the FF retro wave was.

Volcana -  obviously a much needed character.  Really the only original combatant from Secret Wars we don't have a figure of in some form.   But it's a female (strike one) without a ton of name recognition (strike two) and did I mention she's female?  (strike three) -  so she seems a long shot, especially as a single card release.

Maybe if there's a wave three...

Also, of course there are lots of characters that were in the original Secret Wars figure line we don't have on SW cards yet -   Magneto, Dr. Octopus, Kang, Dr. Doom, Hobgoblin, Baron Zemo -  none of which are in desperate need of a new figure but could get a nod anyway.   Especially if they do a third wave of Secret Wars.

If they use the Hyperion body for Absorbing Man, the legs will have to be a new sculpt because he doesn't wear the same boots as Hyperion.

Volcana does seem like the type of figure that would need to be in a box set of some sort, kind of like what they did with Molten Man. But I hope it's her, even though it's probably Magik.

For sure.   New Lower legs, crotch and head would be likely -  but they could probably get away with the torso, upper legs and arms... maybe do a swappable "transformed" arm as well to include?

An Absorbing Man without absorbing effects is just... man.

Swappable arms are needed for Absorbing Man to showcase his powers, don't forget the ball and chain.

...Honestly,  I am Super-Hopeful for a Hobgoblin redo, basically the Retro card one, but new head, cape,  pointy boots, and a brand new, larger bat-glider!
