Having the new Punisher now, I would much rather see Magneto based off of his buck vs the Vulcan one.
Does that new Punisher body have butterfly joints?
I doubt an ML could replace my MAFEX Magneto anyway, but it has no chance without butterfly joints.
@tsi the new Punisher does indeed have butterflies and is just generally an incredibly smooth-jointed and fun to play with figure.
@aceofknaves He's a fun one indeed. I would be very pleased to see Silver Surfer get that buck too I think.
But anyway, I would like it if they trickled out singles here and there like they do with the Spidey cards, etc. I intend to keep mint copies (extras) of these SW cards and Doom is one I would be glad to have on one also but he shouldn't take up a slot in wave 2, nor should reg Spidey imo -- just solo fan channel releases or something.

Yeah I think I'm all set on classic Magneto after getting the Mafex one. I'm happy for ML to keep having a go at him to try and get it right, but I'm not sure how they could top it.
Which Punisher are we talking about?
Dear god... I cannot believe people are actively asking for a reissue of a figure than can be bought at discount retailers right now in a two pack for less than the retro figure would cost at retail. I get there are MOC collectors but I feel like the Hasbro team telegraphed pretty well with the reveal that the Monica/Dr. Doom 2-pack was a Secret Wars preview which suggests Dr. Doom isn't going to be rounding back into the Secret Wars line itself.
I guess maybe if the line does incredibly well and gets them to do multiple future waves... but I'd shocked.
So earlier today I was on the Mafex facebook group and some people were asking why it seems like a whole slew of collectors are selling off their Brown costume wolverines and I posited that it must be because of this Secret Wars Wolverine. After all its on the 97 Wolverine body, a lot of people were thrilled with that figure when it came out, not to mention that most people here 40 and over cut their teeth on that original Secret Wars Wolverine or the original X-Men Wolverine figure. and I think there's just a lot of nostalgia associated with this that outmatches any benefit that the Mafex figure might have.
Back me up on this? Am I in the ballpark here?
I don’t have the Mafex Wolverine, but I can certainly relate to the nostalgia of the brown costume. I don’t know if I’d be replacing a $100 import with a mass market figure though.
Selling brown Mafex Wolverine might make sense because he's around $300 pre-owned with the box. I'm okay with owning Mafex and ML.
