I honestly don't like most of these. They look poorly done. And Titania doesn't look right. I'm probably gonna skip the whole wave. Wolverine even looks...not so great. The only thing I like on him is the claws on brown hands that I could use for better figures if they match well enough, but knowing Hasbro they probably won't. And Black suit spidey looks too thin. Or tall maybe? Both together? Beyonder looks fine though.
*edit* So I know it's not perfect, but for Titania, it looks like the chest piece is molded in flesh tone. So you may be able to remove the inner shirt that shouldn't be there with the paint remover of your choice. As long as the lower body is also flesh tone, you could do the same. Make her at least accurate to the comics. I think that's what is throwing me off about her. But I still probably won't buy her. And spiderman indeed looks too lanky. Is this the new spiderman body everyone loves? Cause it doesn't look great here.
Didn’t bother staying up (I’m in the UK) and wolverine is sold out everywhere here and spidey going that way too. And… hm, I don’t think I’m that bothered? Not super keen on the wolvie face and though I love that costume, I imagine there’ll be a 97 one next year; and I miss the new torso artic. Same with Titania; would have been fav from the wave with the new female torso joint, but I’ll pass without (would love her costume - with that artic - from immortal hulk). I’m a big pinless fan so cap and iron man appeal, but I’m not super sold on the colours and a few other details (shield, blue arc reactor, no joints on the repulsor hands). Beyonder met circuit breaker, but that’s not enough for me to be into the character or look.
that leaves spidey. That body does appeal (the torso joint, not having drop down hips), and I moved my last spidey on a while back. But the calf cuts bug me on costumes where there isn’t a costume break (in general I prefer the mcfarlane ankle set up, not that it’s always executed very well with them). Hm, on the fence.
- Basically - I’m spoiled! Shelf space is limited and these things are pricey, so in general as a non-completist it takes an extra ‘wow’ factor to get me to pick things up these days. Which, tbf, is a good thing. Hopefully the vs capcom stuff/next 97 waves will do me a solid.
Watching the stream I figured Classic Iron Man, brown Wolvie and black Spidey were nice enough but eh, I’ve already got the Medicom versions of all 3 so no use to me. Would have been nice if they’d done Titania with Volcana in a two pack given they were besties but never mind.

... maybe? It depends on which one you're talking about. People love the Renew Your Vows Spider-Man body and the Amazing Fantasy 15 body. This is the latter.
RYV has been used on Daredevil, Iron Fist, and most of the recent Spider-Man figures. I'm pretty sure AF15 was only used on the AF15 Spidey.
I don't really understand the adoration for the AF15 body unless it's being used for a teen Spider-Man. It's about the same height as their usual Wolverine body. There were a ton of people across the internet (including Boog) clamoring for Iron Fist on the AF15 body. It's too small for an adult superhero.
AF15 Spidey body was also used on the Amazing Friends 3-pack version and also the cell-shaded exclusive 90s Animated Spidey, I believe, as well as the blue back-spider first-first-FIRST appearance retro card Spidey.
I’m actually glad SW Spidey is on this body, it feels the most “classic Spidey” to me. RYV feels very 90s-to-modern.
The Amazing Fantasy body was also used on Quentin Quire and Franklin Richards, neither of whom really need that kind of articulation, but I guess need the smaller build? I think putting Miles Morales on this body would make a lot of sense. Same for the O5 X-Men Cyclops and Angel, though I think that today, they'd come up with a more dedicated sculpt for that original uniform.
We all know they do one thing "wrong" to string you along. They plan to sell us each a dozen or so Cap, Ironmen, etc.
The AF 15 Spidey body is very nice. So is RYV. The neck articulation is better on AF 15.
Is there much difference between the RYV and AF15 bodies?
As in would the Secret Wars black Spider-man match body wise with the animated Spider-man with Vulture or would the previous retro card black Spider-man match better?
No toe articulation. Which I still enjoy.

There’s a distinct height difference. RYV is taller, AF is shorter. The pinless Sunfire body they’re using for the Animated body (Vulture 2pk) is right in between.
@normdapito thanks for the info.
I want my collection to be more animated inspired so guess I need to decide if the retro black Spidey or secret wars Spidey would match better as I'm a stickler for the same characters to match body wise unless the figure is based on a specific artist or media.
Peter is 15 when he becomes Spider-Man. So if there’s any character that deserves 2 or even 3 bodies it’s him. Era dependent of course.
The AF 15 body is by far my favorite for Spider-Man. The arm/ leg muscles aren't as bulbous, the neck articulation is better, and the overall look is more streamlined. It's true that it's only a little taller than Wolverine, but that's only because they've never made a true-to-scale Wolverine figure.
@ibentmyman-thing so would the current retro black Spidey be a better match for what I'm after?
