Just had shipping notification for Bane 🙂
Strange that the shipping notices are from China. In the past, Mondo's stuff shipped from China to Mondo in Austin, and then shipped from Austin to customers. I've never seen them skip the Austin step before.
They’ve done it with some of the X-Men ones before. Just obviously takes longer, usually like two or three weeks from shipping notice.
Bane arrived yesterday. He's a big, beefy fella. Well sculpted, solid paint. My concerns are the same as always with Mondo. There should be more articulation at this price point. And the joints are far too stiff. I fear breaking them, and have done so before. So the end result is he isn't very posable.
The 'roided out alt torso is fun , but I have too much PTSD from Mondo figures breaking to try and swap out the torsos. I'll build a base for it and it will become a fun little bust.

Yes, same here. Zero updates since 25tb. Except it isn’t technically showing as shipped. Just that DHL has been notified of the shipment. I checked with them, and they haven’t actually received the package to ship yet.
I emailed Mondo to see what’s happening, but I doubt I’ll get a helpful response.

Mondo replied to my today about the non-moving tracking to say:
Thanks for reaching out! The tracking should be updated soon. This item is shipping straight from the factory, so you'll start to see the step-by-step movements once it has been picked up and makes its way from China to your door. Keep an eye out for an additional tracking email from DHL; you should start seeing updates from that point on. We apologize for the confusion, but unfortunately, there will sometimes be a time gap between when we send the tracking information to our customers and when DHL actually picks the shipment up from the factory. If there are still no changes to your tracking info in 5-7 business days (Monday- Friday), let me know and we can assist from there.
I suspect what might have happened, is that DPD did go and collect an initial order of the figures from the factory, but then didn't go back to collect any more, because it was Golden Week in China. So either the factory was closed for those 8 days, or DPD in China weren't operating for those 8 days.
Maybe those people that did get their Bane figures promptly got lucky that DPD collected them from the factory before Golden Week holiday began.

Finally had an email from DHL confirming they have collected my parcel and its on the move!
Bane finally arrived today! (Would have arrived yesterday but DHL left him at the depot!)
Only managed to briefly look at him (planning to do a full look on Friday) but hes a big and cool looking figure!
