Just had shipping notice for Clayface 🙂
I promised myself only Clayface for me from the Batman line. But that Two Face is gonna be tough to resist, and you just know they're likely going to do a spot on Riddler. I wasn't that impressed with most of the Joker's faces, and the default Batman heads are somewhat underwhelming. But Robin looks great and I always liked Freeze's look. I do hope that Two Face has way more pack in's than just that straight jacket torso add-on. He should have a myriad of included little accessories in addition to the obvious firearms.
In the video here they say he will include more heads and have more accessories than just what is shown
They mention Tom Zelu was involved and he did a mock up a while back so possible some of these will be included (I'm betting the mask he wears over his bad side when he sees Grace is a certain to be included)
Well that settles it then. I do wish they had more "Two Face" expressions, beyond his terrified face and the hat head. I don't need multiple Big Bad Harv ones. But looks like I may be breaking my promise to myself on this one...and depending upon how Riddler looks. I've got more X-Men than anything, but even those I've cherry-picked to just my favorites. This DOES look great. I'd probably rather have more expression heads over the straight jacket as that's a fun option, but I doubt I'll ever display him like that since no other villains come with straight jackets themselves. Obviously he DOES need more hand options too. Thanks for the info!
Just to confirm, the pic isn't from Mondo, it was a mock up by Tom Zelu so we don't know for sure what extra heads will be included with Two-Face

I find the version with the Andrea torso and the smoked base really successful, it adds a real plus to the figurine. Personally, I think that this is a beautiful piece not to be missed for fans of Batman TAS.
I believe Clayface was supposed to ship in August alongside Wolverine and Peter Venkman, no? So far only my Wolverine has been updated to be delayed until Nov.
The difference in color between Clayface's rubber body and all the plastic parts is unacceptable. Using rubber was a bad idea to begin with, and they couldn't even pull it off right. Given the price, this is a stain on Mondo's BTAS collection. (Right up there with that Selina head.)
