We are being asked to pay $40 for a reused Psycho Pirate and Kid Flash but they have it in their budget to give an entirely new sculpt to that stupid ass Superman. I’m so baffled that anyone at McFarlane thinks that figure is a good idea at this point.
The leaks look good on paper but how the figures are going to look in person is anybody’s guess. I’ve already decided to pass on classic figures that aren’t for customs but cautiously optimistic about Rebirth Tim Drake.
Ghosts of Krypton!! I have been waiting to see these since May of last year, but they didn't disappoint. I know most here are into classic DC and such, but I don't think Todd is the right guy for that job. The wild Page Punchers however?? This looks like Kal in Zodd armor. Damnit all, he always finds a way to bring me back. I might need to grab that set. The Page Punchers line is pretty much all that interests me with him anymore and I guess I can put them with Spawn in some bonkers universe. Spawn line looks dead anyhow.
As for the leaks, Darkseid will be interesting, I still want to see the Justice League Waves revealed soon as well. Not sure there's much on that list for me but Sportsmaster and Sgt. Rock are cool choices.
I like it and others may as well, just not here or your average DC collector. Personally I think his general DC stuff is pretty bad. Page Punchers or White Knight or Metal are the things he does well.
That Superman is bananas. He was the one I was *least* looking forward to of the leaked characters in this wave: if Brainiac really is coming here and they put this level of work into a really gonzo design for the Living Computer, I’m going to be a happy guy.
That sure is a figure, I guess.
Ooooh I love that Zod. Hope the horror theme carries over to Brainiac: gimme some Barker-meets-Cronenberg body horror for that one.

Confirmed the armor is removable. I want to see that headsculpt.
