This week’s featured custom is mkultra’s Argentos!
mkultra has gone MOTUC-custom crazy and we all benefit from his repaint wizardry. This particular figure reuses a lot of parts from the MOTUC Faceless One to excellent effect.
I would have dismissed the Faceless One cape and cowl as useless fodder because of how specific it is, but mkultra proves me wrong with this creepy baddy. I love the way the shining silver skull floats there in a sea of black.
The silver skull also matches up nicely with the skeleton motif of the outfit. Topping this guy off is the cool dock ock claw which feels MOTU appropriate in the combination of tech and sorcery. I’m used to Dum Dum being a bit heavier than the standard shield agent, and this body swap feels to me like it adds bulk to Dum Dum, which I like.
Carlosdeanda has a couple of really excellent Thor customs for us this week.
I love the Thunderstrike design so much more on this figure than I do reading a comic with it.
System shows off his very first custom with his Black Widow mod. Welcome the guy aboard, why don’t you?
Last, but certainly not least is Toycooker’s Sasquatch.
Toycooker did some serious mods and crazy amount of sculpting to create the most massive and intimidating Sasquatch figure I’ve ever seen.
