eBay Frenzy 07/19/20: Custom Marvel Legends and Star Wars!

I usually blame a rainy day for keeping me inside but today it’s just too hot. Or maybe I just like browsing eBay on a lazy Sunday and I don’t need to make excuses to look at customs?

That’s probably it.

Like this Droids cartoon C-3PO that does a fantastic job of hiding it’s base components while capturing that animated feel.

I love me a busy chunked up with gear Cable.

I’m always on the hunt for dioramas and this sewer is nice and clean. Not “clean” as in “man, this sewer is abnormally tidy” but the work involved. I love the brick work, the drybrushing on the stone, and the touch of color with the green and purple colors (while also referencing the best Turtle).

Cannonball. Simple recipe but very effective. The extra touch with the harness puts it over the top.

Since the Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse is currently hitting, makes sense for a good looking Gambit to get posted. I always love the Horton’s Heroes shading.

I love Star Wars and I love troopers, so any kind of design a person can put into them and it catches my eye like this “US Stormtrooper”. The mix of real world and sci-fi makes for an interesting mash-up.

I know we already have a version in Legends but the overall presentation of this Bro Thor is amazing. The cloth goods drape in the chair perfectly and even the pose with the beer is great. If I bought this I’d never move it.

I’m still in dire need of catching up with Clone War so I don’t know if this Mandalorian Deathwatch Shadow Collective trooper is canon, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting one of my own.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Punisher 2099 customs before, and I have never read the series, but the work on this custom is crisp. You can’t tell what is factory and what is custom made.

You have a blocky Cable, you gotta have a dynamic Domino, right?

This is my favorite version of Multiple Man ever. It’s not the most superheroic of designs but it takes those elements and shoves them into the real world, which fits the noir aspects of that mini perfectly. Yes, surprise, I actually read that comic.
