New Marvel.com Feature: Blogs

*The Floodgates are Open—Marvel.com Launches Blogs*_

Marvel.com is proud to announce the launch of a blog page where fans can
read, react, and comment on blogs from Marvel insiders of all sorts.

With recent website additions of the super-popular user-generated Marvel
Universe, Digital Comics, and an extensive make-over to make the movie
and video game pages more thorough, the new Marvel.com blog page is but
another rich source for Marvel content and a forum for fans.

“The blogs offers the fans a window into Marvel, and allows us to use
the very same window to listen to our fans,” said John Dokes Vice
President of Marketing and Business Development. “The blogs promise to
be a lively forum where creators, insiders, and fans, can all rave or
rant together about the characters they know and love,” Dokes added.

The first to step up to the blog e-podium are Executive Editor Tom
Breevort, VP of Interactive Marketing Ames Kirshen, a super secret
surprise special guest, and Marvel’s exemplary X-office.

With editors, creators, and other Marvel insiders chiming in, this new
forum will give readers the chance to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of
what to expect out of the House of Ideas. Fans can then join in rooting
or roaring on the blogs page, making their voices heard—and in some
cases, their questions answered, opinions considered, and ideas developed.
Keep a keen eye out for all sorts of secret nuggets of info in the blogs
that will give fans insight to Marvel storylines, movies, TV, video
games, and toys.
