Care for a small peek at what we might expect from the MOTUC and DCUC lines in 2012? We have you covered with the latest edition of Ask Matty!
1. As you know, the Al Pratt (Golden Age) Atom is only about 5′ tall as portrayed in the comics. Can you tell us how tall his DCUC 19 figure will be? Shorter than the standard figures?
He does indeed have some unique parts to make him a little shorter!
2. Can you tell us what, if any, impact the DC re-launch in Septrember will have on the DCUC line? So far the line has done a tremendous job getting us the ICONIC versions of many of the characters. Hopefully that will continue.
It has given us the opportunity to work some of the new looks into the line and refresh key characters. We are actually reworking some of our 2012 line up to take advantage of this! Stay tuned for more at SDCC!
3. More of a comment than a question but – the last few MOTUC and DCUC figure releases have had a GREAT soft plastic used for things like capes and loincloths so movement and articulation is less inhibited. Will you please pass along to the design team that this is very much appreciated and to PLEASE make this the standard for capes, cloaks, skirts, furry shorts and (hopefully) hair going forward?

4. Matty – if you could give us one word or a small phrase to describe what to expect for the 2012 Club Eternia line-up, what would it be?
Unexpected.
5. Will there be another “Fan Poll” for DCUC kick-off at SDCC this year?
No, but we do have something else cooked up.
