Captain America: Civil War is close to release in the US, so why not reveal a Marvel Legends 3-Pack containing Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man. Yeah, Spider-Man.
The set was revealed on a Facebook Live feed on the Captain America page, so the pic quality isn’t that great, but you get the idea. You can watch the video here but I’ve rounded up some stills to fine-tooth comb over.
I don’t know if “fine-tooth comb over” is an actual phrase, but I’m running with it.

First up, Iron Man and Cap.
Both figures are re-releases of the ones we just got in the Giant-Man wave with additional battle damage. That’s okay though, at least they are different. Along with the damage both characters get unmasked heads. Iron Man also gets two sets of blast effects, which is what I was asking for to simulate flight, but now there are two blues and two oranges. Ah well, we can work with that.
The big reveal of the set is Spider-Man. It reminds me of an older Spidey figure but I think that’s just the low-res messing with me. It’s definitely the new costume from the movie but I’ll wait until higher resolution pics drop before declaring it an all-new sculpt.
Spidey’s accessory is Cap’s shield with battle damage. I was able to get a couple of nice grabs of it and it’s not just some dark paint, it’s actually scrapes and gouges. I dig it. A lot.
The set will be available Aug 1st on HasbroToyShop.com. The guys doing the live feed kept talking about being able to get it earlier, so maybe they’ll find some way to get it out before the drop date? San Diego Comic Con? Target? Ah, Entertainment Earth!
