The figma Archetype Next: He and She aren’t just highly articulated, nicely sculpted action figures, they are works of art. And Max Factory should know, they also makes articulated figures of famous historical works of art.
Pabs should have reviews of the initial Archetype offerings soon, but Max Factory wasted no time announcing the next versions. Claiming the Next figures have more realistic muscles and proportions with even more range of movement through the use of softer materials in places, it looks like the first generation Archetypes may be obsolete from the get-go.
That’s me just being dramatic. I’m sure they will be fine figures in their own right. Just weird to show 2.0 before 1.0 is at saturation.
