You knew the First Order Stormtrooper from Star Wars: The Force Awakens would make the rounds through all the different companies producing 1:12 scale figures. Here’s the latest version, this time from Medicom.
The MAFEX Vader is high on a lot of people’s lists, including mine, so it’s probably a no-brainer to get the FO Trooper on pre-order. I mean, I already have Fett, R2, and 3PO on order too, might as well put this one on the list too.
Featuring the biggest weapon load-out of any single trooper so far, it seems you get more bang for your buck in this case. Sure, between the Bandai model, the S.H. Figuarts, and the various Black Series versions, we have all of these weapons, but this one comes with all of them. Nifty.

It also looks pretty good. The shoulder pads are on the torso and the wrists look off, but will it increase range of articulation? We’ll see I guess.
The figure is due out August 2016 and will run about $40. Online shops like Amiami and HLJ already have pre-orders up.
