It is more than just a renewal. I have never felt so whole. All of the pain I have endured has been nothing but prelude.

The vices have been cast aside. Everything I once was: the delusions I clung to, even the skills I believed kept me sane — they are all gone.

Clarity, finally.

I know that vengeance is a fool’s grave. I know the darkness that lays in wait for that fool.

But I am no fool.

Once, I hid my mind and my soul away in a dungeon of my choosing, but now I embrace the parts that I once tried to bury.

Now, the warrior stands complete.

Let my vengeance be my armor.

Let the demons that have plagued me in these dark years rise up against me once more

I will strike them down again and again, as many times as necessary, until they realize their hold is gone. Let my denial of them ring in the sound of steel sparking against steel.

I am coming for you, murderer.
