The D13 Toys Kickstarter is in full-swing, so we wanted to bring you all the details.

BIBLICAL ADVENTURESTM is a fully detailed and educational action figure line from D13Toys, bringing well known characters from the Bible to classrooms, religious institutions, and toy collections worldwide! Each figure is 1:12 scale (approx. 6” tall each) and is fully posable with 31 points of articulation, realistic details, fabric robes, and a variety of accessories. Each figure will also come in a hardcover package replicating a Bible, with a short biography in English, Spanish, and Hebrew, as well as a specific scripture relevant to the individual character written on faux parchment paper.
This passion project started out as an idea back in 2008, and which is now available on KICKSTARTER. The campaign began on 02/21/23 with an initial funding goal of $80k! Should that pledge level be met, the first 7 figures in the series will be funded and produced (including a Kickstarter exclusive figure), as well as blank bodies and a set of bases. Additional funding will open up additional figures, and a total of 26 figures are already designed and prototyped for the BIBLICAL ADVENTURESTM line, with plans beyond even these!
Who is behind this project?
The owner of D13Toys is Chris Gawrych, a longtime toy industry veteran and current Production Manager for Four Horsemen Studios. Chris has helped bring many toys to action figure fans’ hands over the years, including the Mythic Legions, Cosmic Legions, and Figura Obscura lines from the 4H, as well as products from NECA and releases from many indie toy companies including Eagle Force, Plunderlings, Boglins, Chicken Fried Toys, and more.
In addition to Chris’ 15-year long investment in making this line a reality, BIBLICAL ADVENTURESTM also features the work of other toy industry talents, including many members of Four Horsemen Studios who helped with the sculpting, painting, soft goods prototyping, photography, and marketing of this new line.
