  1. They are set to scale with 6 inch, like all Hasbro 6 inch stuff. So the smaller figures won’t be actual 6 inches, 3-4 inches like say R2D2 or an Ewok or Yoda in the Star Wars Black series, they are not 6 inches tall.

  2. No articulation on Uni is a disappointment. Expected, but still a disappointment.

That said, I’ll be getting these. I’ll be waiting for them to show up in store, though. With no estimated date that could mean 6+ months of Target pinging my bank account for $130 for preorders for the full wave.

  3. At 6″ scale, as discussed by Robo in last week’s Weekly, I have to wonder how big these will actually be. They are kids so will Hank set the scale at 6″ tall and the rest fall in line next to him? I’m all in to get these but I’m worried between the scale and animation aesthetic if I’ll be able to mix them in with other stuff or will they look better on their own shelf.

  4. The creatures is a big one. I would get behind a haslab Tiamat or really any of the dragons, but a 6″ scale one would be so big and expensive. They could easily do a $60 beholder in 6″ scale. I’m sure if this first wave does well they will do the rest of them too.
    Thanks!

  5. I know this will sound dumb but they look a wee bit too cartoony for my liking, Diana’s head especially looks massive. Even so, I’ll probably spring for Venger anyway just because I’ve always liked the cut of his jib.

  6. I’d like them at a 4″ scale AND at this scale. Seven year old me got really excited when I saw this. How have we NEVER gotten these figures before now?

  7. This is one instance where I’m torn on scale. If Hasbro were really to get back into D&D, I would prefer 1/18 just due to the possibilities with world building – castles, creatures, horses, etc. If this is just the core characters from the show over 2-3 waves, I prefer 1/12.

I’ve waited 40 years for figures from the original animated show so I’m pretty over-the-moon with this announcement. I hope they are committed to cranking out Presto, Eric, and Sheila not long after. Shadow Demon, Karena, Warduke, and Strongheart would be icing on the cake!

Great picture by the way! I liked it on IG the other day. I always enjoy your BFS customs.

  8. yes thank you. Boss Fight has had a corner on 4″ fantasy figures, but nothing licensed. I would love to add these to the world, but no. Easy pass now.

  9. On the bright side, Pulse lists the release date as Jan. 1, 2023 so hopefully it will be a short wait. 🙂

  10. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, HASBRO. Good thing I’ve pretty much stopped buying Marvel Legends, ‘cuz between these and NECA’s excellent Dungeons & Dragons items my wallet is going to be pretty empty in the near future. I preordered the Venger & Dungeon Master 2-pack from the Pulse (as I am also pretty sick of the endless Target preorders), and will pick up the other figures as they become available elsewhere. Good time to be a D&D kid…

  11. Am I right in understanding that only the Venger/DM 2 pack is a Target/Pulse exclusive and the rest will be available everywhere?

Already got my preorder in on Pulse for that – just wondering where the rest might be.

  12. A dream come true! I’ve been waiting for this line since I was a kid. Can’t wait to complete the original team. I hope they give Sheila a cloth cape.

  13. I seriously cannot believe they did this with no leaks. I’m all in, ordered them all. BRING ON WAVE 2!!

  14. Tempting! I was always puzzled why they didn’t do this at the time, when they had a toy line and some of them showed up in the show.

  15. OH WOW! I had no idea these were coming. Used to watch the show in Latin America… It would come on Sundays during the cartoon break for a local Kids Variety Show…. Sigh…. I am old!
