Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Avengers: Endgame Captain America Review

Bandai’s Captain America is awesome! I love this figure so freaking much. I’ve liked most to the Cap’s Bandai’s release in S.H. Figuarts, and the Avengers: Infinity War Cap overall was great, but this one? Kills it.

It’s a heavily based Infinity War version, he has the same drumstick legs and the sculpt looks to be same from the pants down, although the thigh sculpts might be different. But the torso, arms and head are new. The new costume design is one of my favorites, the new armor with the carbon fiber bits is sweet. And the helmet pops for me too. The figure captures the movie version perfectly, it’s hand candy.

The articulation, isn’t worth mentioning at this point, it’s so out of the box formulaic that there is nothing to remark. It hits all the poses and is fun to roll around on the fingers. The double barbells in the ab joint and the waist joint can be fidgety, these parts can move around, hitting that pose might cause you some stress if you aren’t used this engineering.

Accessories include the shield, a bunch of hands and extra head. The extra head… yeah no idea. No one really cares since it’s the shield that is the winner.

Speaking of heads, so I did some swapping around. Looks like that the Civil War unmasked head fits on End Game Cap. Which is what everyone wants to happen. The only bad thing is that End Game Cap has some serious helmet sculpt on the neck that is not removable. I think you can swap Infinity War and End Game necks, but Infinity War collar is kinda dirty. You can put Bucky’s head on End Game Cap, but due to the L-shaped barbell of Falcon’s head you cannot swap his head. I put End Game Cap’s head on Infinity War and then liked it and wanted to make a new Civil War Cap, but then I’d need another End Game Cap, which sounds stupidly expensive (and fun).

What’s the verdict? Totally fun purchase, totally worth it and I love the everything about this figure. You will too. So go buy one at:

No where, the aftermarket, dude is sold out. Good luck.
